Children's Activities (age 12 and up)
Assists with Children's Activities while parents are shopping.
Clean up Crew (age 12 and up)
The goal of this role is to leave zero residual presence? of the events of the day. Assist with trash removal, recycling of boxes, tearing down tables, sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning of bathrooms. Have back in pristine order by the 6:30 service, no one would ever suspect that there was a toy store in existence just 2 hours earlier. (Open to all)
Curbside Greeter (age 12 and up)
Cheerfully greet those along the curb needing assistance carrying their donated toys from parking lot to a designated location.
Gift Wrap Team (age 12 and up)
The role of the Gift Wrap Team is to provide complimentary gift-wrapping for the guests purchases or wrapping paper for them to take home. (Open to adults and students.)
Guest Attendants (age 12 and up)
The role of Guest Attendants is to assist each guest exiting the store with their purchases, next station and help them to their car. Personally invite shopper back to Christmas Eve service, provide invite card with service times. (Open to adults and students.)
Guest Check In (age 18 and up)
The role of Guest Check In includes cheerfully welcoming guests as they arrive, provide "Zone" ticket for entry, ensure they have shopping ticket, answer questions, have shoppers wait in an orderly manner. (Open to adults and students.)
Hospitality Team (age 12 and up)
The role of Hospitality Team is to cheerfully serve complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and goodies to guests who are waiting in line for their purchases to be gift-wrapped or just hanging out. Volunteers replenish snacks and make new pots of coffee when it runs low. (Open to adults and MS/HS students)
Personal Shoppers (age 18 and up)
The role of the Sales Floor Attendant is to assist guests as they are shopping, answer questions, keep the shelves filled with inventory items and keep the shelves properly labeled. Invite guest back to Christmas Eve service. (Open to adults and students.)
Stockers (age 18 and up)
The role of the Volunteer Stocker is to work with the Personal Shopper to keep the shelves fully stocked and the reserve toys organized and clean. (Open to adults and students 16 years and older)
Toy Store Check Out Team (age 18 and up)
The role of the Check Out Team is to assist guests with their purchases, collect tickets, help bag gifts and answer any questions the guests may have as well as directing them to the Exit Greeters. (Adults)
Translation Team (age 18 and up)
Translation team will be on site and provide a smooth translation for international guests. Must speak Spanish and English.
Volunteer Check in Team (age 14 and up)
This role is responsible for setting up volunteer check in stations and area. Ensure all volunteers are checked in, have name tag, know their leader and where they are serving. Confirm they understand guidelines of store and how to treat guests. (Open to adults and students)
